THE TASSILI NAJJER – TAMRIT- SEFAR-TIMGHAS

Day 1: Night flight. Arrival in Djanet, overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: At 12:00, transfer by 4x4 to the foot of the Akba Tafalalet, meeting with
our Tuareg team of donkey drivers, lunch and ascent towards the pass of
TARZA-INHAL
Setting up the bivouac at TEFATAST-MALAT (2h30 walk).
Day 3: Departure from TEFATAST-MALAT to TAMRIT.
After crossing two mountain passes to reach the plateau.
Visit to the rock paintings – bivouac at TAMRIT (4.5 to 5 hours of walking).
Day 4: TAMRIT – SEFAR visit to the rock paintings, bivouac in SEFAR (6 to 7 hours)
walking).
Day 5: SEFAR – OUAN-GOUFA visit rock paintings bivouac in OUAN-
GOUFA (6 to 7 hours walk)
Day 6: OUAN-GOUFA – descent from the plateau via the TAFALALAT pass
Transfer by 4x4 to Timras - meeting with our camel team
(sunset at Timras – 4 to 5 hours walk).
Day 7: Timras - visit to the rock paintings – TIHARAMIWEN – Adaik Bivouac.
(5 hours of walking)
Day 8: Adaik – Tisras (4 hours of walking) - After lunch, transfer to the hotel –
shower – visit to the Djanet Souk – dinner at a Tuareg family home or at the hotel.
Day 9: Return flight
