Day 1 - TOZEUR (TUNISIA) - ALGERIAN BORDER - EL OUED
In the morning, we arrive at the Algerian border and then proceed to the border town of El Oued, known as the City of a Thousand Domes. We will visit the picturesque souks.
Overnight in a hotel with secure parking.
Day 2 - EL OUED - OHANET
Heading south, passing through the town of Touggourt and then the major oil city of Hassi Messaoud.
A region rich in hydrocarbons. Overnight in Ohanet.
Day 3 - OHANET - ILLIZI
Arrival in the heart of the Sahara.
Overnight near Illizi.
Day 4 - ILLIZI - IHERIR
National Route no. Day 3 South – Passing through In Amenas before reaching the town of Illizi, which marks the boundary between the dune area and the beginning of the Tassili n'Ajjer mountain range.
Crossing the Tassili, a desert and mountainous region, passing through the small village of Fednoun.
Arrival at the Iherir oasis, a true gem of the desert.
Overnight in a campsite.
Day 5 – IHERIR – DJANET
Morning: Explore the oasis on foot, and for the more athletic, there is the option of reaching an ancient Ksar (2-hour hike).
Afternoon: Drive to the Djanet campsite.
Days 6 to 9: The days will be dedicated to 4x4 excursions in the magnificent Tadrart desert of the Tassili n'Ajjer.
Rock sculptures and paintings, dunes, rocky labyrinths.
Day 10 - DJANET - ILLIZI
Departure in the morning heading north, along the same road.
Overnight at the foot of the dunes in the desert.
Day 11 - ILLIZI – HASSI MESSAOUD
Transfer north. Overnight stay near Hassi Messaoud.
Day 12 - HASSI MESSAOUD - EL OUED - TUNISIA BORDER TOZEUR
Transfer north. Overnight stay in a hotel with secure parking.
