Day 1: Flight to Djanet - Arrival in Djanet and check-in at the hotel or guesthouse

Note: This circuit can be done in reverse, depending on the location of the camel drivers at the starting point of the circuit.

Day 2: DJANET - ASKOU

Transfer by 4x4 to Askou (approximately 4 to 5 hours drive)

Overnight camp in Askou

Day 3: ASKOU - IKACH

4 to 6 hours of walking - Varied landscapes - Rock paintings

​

Day 4: IKACH - TISSALAN

4 to 6 hours of walking - Rocky labyrinths - Rock paintings

​

Day 5: TISSALAN - TARARAT

4 to 6 hours of walking - Ascent of the Tadjelahine plateau (1500m)

Day 6: TARARAT - TEFLEIARHA

4 to 6 hours of walking - Varied landscapes - Rock paintings

Days 7-8: TEFLEIARHA - FIDILLON

4 to 6 hours of walking per day - Varied landscapes

Days 9-10: FIDILLON - MAHER - IHERIR

4 to 5 hours of walking per day

Then on day 10, transfer by 4x4 to Iherir - Visit to the guelta (waterhole)

Overnight in a guesthouse in the village of Iherir

Day 11: IHERIR - ESSENDILENE - ERG ADMER

Transfer by 4x4 to Essendilène, then a 2 to 3 hour walk at the Essendilène site - Transfer by 4x4 to Erg Admer - Sunset over the dunes - Camp overnight

Day 12: ERG ADMER - TEGHARGHART - DJANET

Transfer by 4x4 to the Weeping Cow site, then on to Djanet

Lunch and transfer by 4x4 to Djanet

Shower at the hotel and visit to the market

Dinner, then return flight from Djanet to your destination
